Sabrina’s Cafe has multiple locations, but this is the specific address I went to: 227 N 34th St, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
Located a few blocks from Philadelphia’s Art Museum, Sabrina’s Cafe is a cozy diner type restaurant that feels like a hole in the wall. It combines hearty portions with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It has creative lattes, classic diner meals with some unique options – Sabrina’s was a great meal before going to the Philadelphia Art Museum.
My girlfriend’s coworker recommended this spot to us before we started walking around Philly. We’re glad she did because this was a large brunch for a surprisingly affordable price. Sabrina’s has a lot of locations across Philly, so be sure to stop by.
What We Ordered
Shrimp Po’Boy

A Po’boy isn’t your common everyday diner sandwich. This is a sandwich that really shines. It’s a shrimp forwarded sandwich from New Orleans, with fried shrimp, house made remoulade, and other fixings like pickles, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
It’s a very hearty sandwich, and every part deserves the spotlight. The bread was amazing with a good soft interior, the fried shrimp was crispy without being overcooked, leaving it tender, and remoulade was spicy and a bit tangy.
This comes with a side of fries, so that really filled me up.
Blueberry Muffin Latte

Some days I like ordering plain coffee, 2 creams, 2 sugars. Other days, I like trying the lattes on the list, and this latte was worth it. Their blueberry muffin latte has espresso, fresh blueberries, butter pecan syrup, milk, and whipped cream.
It’s rich and creamy, and you really taste how it’s like a blueberry muffin, but in latte form. I ended up finishing the whole thing before my po’boy arrived. It was a good latte after riding the Amtrak down to Philly.
Final Thoughts
Sabrina’s Cafe has a great atmosphere. It’s cozy, has a lot of art (with a drawn skeleton on the chalkboard) and has an ideal location.
If you’re like us and near the Art Museum when you’re hungry, this is worth the stop. Albeit was packed when we went so be mindful of the timing.
