Jalapeño popper twists are the perfect bite-sized snack for football watch parties, game day spreads, or anytime you need a quick appetizer. Jalapeño poppers are already a classic crowd favorite (especially around the Super Bowl), and these twists take that flavor combo one step further by wrapping creamy cheese, crispy bacon, and spicy jalapeños inside flaky refrigerated dough.

They’re crispy, cheesy, a little spicy, and incredibly easy to make. No fancy ingredients required. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or just craving something savory, these jalapeño popper twists come together fast and disappear even faster.

Ingredients

This makes 1 set of 8.

  • 1 can Pillsbury dough
  • 2 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 strips bacon
  • Whipped cream cheese, 3 tbsp
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Optional: 1 egg for egg wash
Directions
  1. Cook bacon on a parchment-lined tray in an air fryer or oven at 400°F for 15 minutes. Chop once cooled.
  2. Slice jalapeños in half, remove seeds, and dice. (Pro tip: don’t touch your eyes afterward.)
  3. Lay out the Pillsbury dough on a cutting board.
  4. Spread a thin layer of whipped cream cheese over the dough. Season lightly with salt and garlic powder.
  5. Sprinkle evenly with jalapeños, bacon, and cheddar cheese.
  6. Fold the dough in half and cut into strips.

TIP: (Go lighter on filling if you want cleaner twists)

  1. Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake at 375°F for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. That’s it: crispy, cheesy jalapeño popper twists ready to serve. Enjoy!
